Initial and Ongoing Training
We consider it is essential to pursue at all times a policy of maximization of our lawyers’ potential, by means of an annual in-house training plan and by providing complementary support for the attendance of external training sessions.
For the purpose of the implementation of the annual in-house training plan, we value the participation of associates and trainee-lawyers, as well as their active collaboration in the organisation and promotion of training events.
By implementing a rotating training scheme, the Firm provides initial training in a working environment, adapting trainee lawyers’ academic knowledge to the Firm’s modus operandi.
“Professor André Gonçalves Pereira” Award
The “Professor André Gonçalves Pereira” award, established by the Firm, is granted to the best research papers prepared by an associate in any area of the Law relevant to or of interest for in the areas of practice of the Firm.
The purpose is to reward the effort of those who, while practicing the law and working for the Firm, also carry out high quality legal research.
Also, through the publication of the award-winning papers, the Firm makes the value of its lawyers known to the public, thus contributing to the lawyer’s and to the firm’s prestige.
