The firm’s Real Estate team has experience in every type of real estate transactions, namely in sectors such as residential, industrial, logistics, commercial, tourism and leisure.

This team has advised several national and foreign real estate developers and has participated in some investments and projects of real estate development carried out in Portugal in the past few years.

Apart from the lawyers who are permanently integrated and specialised in this area of practice, the Real Estate team comprises skilled professionals from different legal areas whenever necessary, in order to create “tailor-made” work groups to better accommodate the specificity of each project or transaction.

The real estate team has experience on legal advice to real estate developments, in various real estate segments, specially, residential, industrial, logistics and tourism. The team assists their clients in all phases of real estate development, namely in the ones listed above:

  • Real estate legal due-diligences;
  • Structuring and ongoing advice on urban and real estate operations;
  • Real estate financing;
  • Drafting and negotiation of real estate contracts (construction, architectural and construction management agreements, purchase and sale, brokerage agreements, financing, guarantees, management and maintenance agreements);

When selecting and structuring investment vehicles for a particular business or transaction, it is necessary to identify in a fully and integrated way the client’s needs and goals. The experience of the real estate team in this matter includes, among others, the following:
