The Labour Law Department is composed of lawyers, who are experienced in the different areas of Labour Law and Social Security, and provide legal advice to national and foreign companies in all sectors of economic activity.
It covers the following main areas:
Legal advice on the management of human resources – recruitment of individuals, top executives and members of management boards or boards of directors, general monitoring of contractual eventualities
Restructuring of human resources – negotiation of employment contract termination agreements, collective dismissals, redundancies and transfers of undertakings
Advice on entrepreneurial strategies and policies – drafting of internal regulations, performance assessment and other instruments relating to the organisation of work in companies, structuring of wage plans, benefits and other consideration
Labour disputes – Representation of companies and top executives in all types of labour proceedings, including labour administrative offences
Conduct and investigation of disciplinary and inquiry procedures
Labour audits
Advice on safety, health and hygiene at work, accidents at work and occupational illnesses
Social Security – application of the relevant legal frameworks, preparation of supplementary retirement plans and funds
Collective Labour Law – negotiation of collective bargaining instruments, relations with trade unions and employers’ associations, advice on strikes and collective disputes
